Roles & Responsibilities

Currently, we are seeking a full-time Regional Head of Sales & Marketing with the ability to demonstrate development of and execution of strategic initiatives, thought leadership and drive strong internal company culture. You will be active on the ground in each country closing deals and leading the charge. In addition, you will develop and mentor staff in each market to become strong leaders for their respective market. This role is hands on and requires a strong leader that can roll up their sleeves and demonstrate by doing.

We have offices in MY, SG, ID with plans to continue expansion into TH & PH.  Each market is unique, requiring a solid background in business development and relationship management for more than 1 market. You will be part of the management team responsible in the opening and development of these new markets while also playing a role as a front facing leader at trade events, conferences and PR.  

Additional key duties and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all markets operating under IA including expansion to new markets 
  • Lead negotiations for regional affiliates/publishers/content channels and assist country level teams with guidance and direction on local contracts
  • Able to strategise and execute marketing campaigns across multiple channels – search, social & display. Understand CAC, LTV and optimizing ad spend.
  • Lead negotiations and contracts for regional merchants and advertisers and assist country level teams with guidance, direction and execution of local contracts
  • Become company thought leader, second to the CEO in front facing with PR opportunities, trade show, events and conferences
  • Lead the following departments reporting direct to CEO:  Sales, Account Management, Marcom/PR
  • Influence and support Finance & Finance Operations in partnership with Sales/Acct Mgt Team and play part in ensuring process and flows reduce churn
  • Aggressively source new partnerships and opportunities and lead the strategic approach for each market
  • Lead by example by executing on the ground and closing larger merchants and partnerships
  • Participate in fiscal planning and forecasting
  • Lead new programs such as development of incentive and commission programs for sales staff
  • Be able to spot market trends and lead in the ever changing digital media landscape to find opportunities for entry or leverage

 

  • Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in (Advertising, Media, Marketing, Communications, PR, E-commerce, Mass Communications, Commerce Journalism or equivalent)
  • At least 8 -10 year(s) of working experience in the related field 
  • Extensive experience in public speaking and presenting 
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skill
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Express interest in taking on multiple tasks and supporting other departments as needed in a startup environment
  • Be able to work self-directed and self-motivated in a quick and fast paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint 
  • Solid financial acumen
  • Deep knowledge of digital media, e-commerce or online payments industries
  • Ability to influence and lead across functions 
  • Ability to measure results and use data to drive strategy and decisions 
  • Ability to navigate between strategic and operational seamlessly
