Social Media Executive job at Duo Studio Singapore

Duo was just started in February 2015, and are currently small team that’s fun, enthusiastic and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

We’re looking for someone suitable to oversee our clients’ social media marketing activities. Your job will mainly be centered around content creation, community management and reporting, and because we take a very tailored approach to content, this will involve you running around Singapore doing everything from taking photos of food to videos of dancers.

 

We are looking for a certain type that’s highly motivated, social media savvy and possesses strengths in administrative work, writing and visualising ideas.

 

Day-to-day activities include:

  • Curate relevant content to reach the company’s ideal customers.

  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written).

  • Monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.

  • Develop and expand community and influencer outreach efforts.

  • Oversee design (e.g.: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, and blog).

  • Design, create and manage promotions and Social ad campaigns.

  • Compile reports showing results (ROI).

  • Monitor trends in Social Media tools, applications, channels, design and strategy.

  • Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the business. Report notable threats to appropriate management.

  • Analyze campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising the Social Media campaigns.

  • Monitor effective benchmarks (best practices) for measuring the impact of Social Media campaigns. Analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of campaigns in an effort to maximize results.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Relevant educational field in Communications, Media and Marketing

  • Demonstrates creativity and documented immersion in Social Media. (Give links to profiles as examples).

  • Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.

  • Displays good understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios for businesses

  • Maintains excellent writing and language skills. (English language)

  • Displays ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and visual format.

  • Is a team player who is versatile, flexible and diligent

  • Has the ability to multi-task and keep to deadlines

  • Makes evident good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly.

  • Demonstrates winning Social Customer Service techniques. Possesses great ability to identify potential negative or crisis situation and apply conflict resolution principles to mitigate issues.

  • Ability to take on pressure and work under tight schedules and deadlines.

  • Resourceful, motivated, independent and takes initiative to fulfill tasks.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; Adobe Photoshop is a plus

  • Previous social media marketing / public relations / customer service experience will be a plus
