We are looking for kickass Frontend developers to join our pioneering team as we set up in Malaysia!
Lead/Senior Frontend Developer
- As the Lead Frontend developer, you will be the go to guy/girl everyone looks up to when Frontend systems/HTML5/Javascript comes to mind.
- You will be responsible for leading, overseeing, and educating the frontend web development team.
- Be at the forefront of the latest developments, practices and tools relating to frontend systems.
- Work with project managers, designers and other platform leads to provide platform specific insights and solve challenging problems.
Senior/Junior Frontend Developer
- Write and maintain quality code that you can be proud of.
- Translate client requirements, feature specifications and stories into logical technical implementation.
- Translate UI/UX design and requirements into HTML, CSS and Javascript implementation.
- Develop and ensure functionality on variety of smartphone and desktop browsers.
- Make recommendations on implementation options and best practices.
- Work with Project Manager and fellow developers to properly distribute and complete project requirements on time.
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field or significant equivalent experience (Because we value skill over qualifications ;) )
- 1 or more years of experience developing Frontend applications.
- Ideally completed at least 1 full app development life cycle.
- Strong working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, Javascript (and its related technologies) and JQuery.
- Experience in web programming including Rails, PHP, ASP or JSP and database systems such as MySQL, MSSQL, or Oracle a plus.
- Ability to do design work, Photoshop, Illustrator, and the rest of the relevant Adobe suite a plus.
Qualities needed to Excel
- Fluent in English.
- Initiative (Take proactive steps in solving/avoiding/highlighting potential problems or improvements).
- Good problem solver and self-learner (Ability to think logically and debug problems on your own before asking for help).
- Responsible (Work should be finished on time. Notify on any setbacks).
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Curious self-starter and eager to learn (Continuously cultivate skillsets and familiarity in new and upcoming technologies in your respective platform).
