As the Customer Relationship Manager & Key Account Lead, you’ll be primarily responsible for (1) working with and managing your small team and together you will interface our customers across various channels (e.g. email, Facebook, SMS, WhatsApp, Zopim, phone), and (2) manage the relationship with our key Tripda users who we call our MVPs (most valuable passengers) and MVDs (most valuable drivers).

Our ultimate aim as a team will be to grow the carpooling culture in Malaysia. This will be both the most exciting AND the most challenging job you've ever done!

He or she will report directly to the Managing Director for Tripda Malaysia & Singapore. Adventure & steep learning curve guaranteed.

  • Strictly MUST have the right to work in Malaysia or Malaysia citizen/PR. No work permit will be offered. Applicants who do not meet this criteria will not be considered.
  • Required skills:
    • Experience in effective & efficient customer relationship management to meet customer service objectives (e.g. loyalty, recurrence, satisfaction)
    • Experience in managing at least a small team of customer service staff to interface our users on a daily basis in a structured manner
    • Experience in a multi-channel approach in engaging users (e.g. email, Facebook, SMS, WhatsApp, Zopim, phone, and/or more channels)
    • Strong social skills - a real people-person that loves to interact, help & coach new people
  • Applicants must have at least 12-24 MONTHS of experience of the Required Skills listed above.
  • Fluent in English and Malay and preferably a relevant 3rd language
  • Very strong interest in entrepreneurship, travel & internet start-ups
  • Solid business understanding and willingness to learn
  • Positive attitude, sociable personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Bonus points:
    • Have started your own company
    • Experience with managing and developing marketing campaigns and events organisation/management 
    • Fluency in Mandarin/Cantonese/Tamil 
    • Creative design skills
    • Own a car

Must work from our Malaysia office at Southgate Commercial Centre in Kuala Lumpur.
