Ume Pal Pte. Ltd. is a technology startup company specialising in online and mobile payment solutions. We are currently expanding our development team in preparation for the commercial launch of our flagship payment service. To develop the core backend system of our online and mobile payment solutions. The backend performs transaction processing and database manipulation. It supports our suite of web and mobile applications. A Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) will be adopted. The successful candidate will also be expected to develop web applications for internal administrators and/or external customers.
- Perform requirement analysis on the business needs of our entire line of online and mobile payment solutions.
- Perform system architecting base on SOA for our entire line of online and mobile payment solutions.
- Perform system analysis and design on the technical needs of the core backend system and web applications.
- Undertake user experience/user interface (UX/UI) designing for the web applications.
- Develop the core backend system using Java Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE).
- Develop the web applications using Java Web.
- Test the core backend system and web applications.
- Deploy the core backend system and web applications.
- Maintain the core backend system and web applications (bug fixes, operating system updates and enhancements).
- Work closely with other members of the development team.
- Java programming.
- Java SE and Java EE.
- N-tier application development.
- Web application development.
- HTML and CSS.
- Web designing.
- Relational database management system.
- Knowledge of SOA is advantageous.
- Knowledge of ecommerce and payment security is advantageous.
- Object-oriented system analysis and design using Unified Modelling Language (UML).
- Familiarity with agile development methodology.
- Good interpersonal and communication skill.
- Great team player.
- Ability to work independently under time pressure.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
