To develop web applications for internal administrators and/or external customers. The primary objectives of the customer-fronting web applications include, but are not limited to, ecommerce and online payment.
- Interpret business requirements of the web applications.
- Perform system analysis and design on the technical needs of the web applications.
- Undertake user experience/user interface (UX/UI) designing for the web applications.
- Develop the web applications using Java Web.
- Integrate the web applications with backend transaction processing and database using component method invocation and/or web services.
- Test the web applications.
- Deploy the web applications to application server.
- Maintain the web applications (bug fixes, operating system updates and enhancements).
- Work closely with other members of the development team.
- Java programming.
- Java SE and Java EE.
- Web application development.
- HTML and CSS.
- Web designing.
- Familiarity with agile development methodology.
- Good interpersonal and communication skill.
- Great team player.
- Ability to work independently under time pressure.
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or other related disciplines such as engineering.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
