- Performs sales activities on major accounts and negotiates sales price and discounts in consultation with vendors/service providers.
- Manages and develops sales team and sales support staff.
- Reviews progress of sales roles throughout the company.
- Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products.
- Provides quarterly results assessments of sales staff’s productivity.
- Coordinates proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.
- Formulates all sales policies, practices and procedures.
- Accomplishes weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Assists sales personnel in establishing personal contact and rapport with top echelon decision-makers.
- Collaborates with Country Manager to develop sales strategies and programs to improve market share in all product lines.
- Interprets short- and long-term effects on sales strategies in operating profit.
- Educates sales team by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies, proper use and level of sales support, management of expenses and business/financial issues on contracts.
- Collaborates with Country Manager and with the management to establish and control budgets for sales promotion and trade show expenses.
- Reviews expenses and recommends economies.
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s/College Degree in Business Administration/Management, Economics, Marketing or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years management experience in sales and marketing with demonstrated success preferably in an advertising/digital agency, media, tech startup, online marketplace or related field is required for this position.
- With solid experience in interpreting sales performance and market trend information.
- Strong sales skills and proven customer management experience.
- Strong understanding of market behaviors of service providers and customers in the Philippine marketplace.
- Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and work independently or with a team.
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to motivate and lead the sales team.
- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills; Strong command of written and spoken English and Tagalog
