With our web-based crowd-sourced transcribing platform, CaptionCube aims to provide meaningful, freelance transcribing job opportunities for persons who require flexible working hours due to family or health conditions e.g. physical disabilities. ·Manage transcribing and video captioning projects
·Work with our team of freelance transcribers to ensure work is delivered on time with quality
·Edit work that is completed by the transcribers and ensure quality is produced
·Research and test ways/softwares to improve the efficiency of the transcribing and captioning process
·Support transcribing and other administrative work
·Help manage ad-hoc events
·Support and test our new web-based platform
·Meticulous and good listening skills, able to listen to lecture/seminar videos and ensure that transcripts/captions are provided accurately
·Fast, efficiency typing/editing skills and willingness to work hard
Good to have in any of these areas
·Familiarity with using post-production video editing softwares
·Experience with fan-subbing, subtitling, transcribing or translation work
·Background in linguistics
