- To develop, conceptualise and design a new platform for ecommerce
- To develop and maintain web, mobile web and social media applications.
- To improve the performance and stability of new and existing solutions.
- Must be able to cope with highly challenging tasks related to programming and web development.
- Must be able to work in a highly agile environment.
- To be involved in the whole SDLC from requirement gathering, analysis, logical and physical design to implementation, testing and deployment.
- Assists in defining software architectures – Collaborates with leads to explore existing systems, determines areas of complexity, potential risks to successful implementation, learns the applications capabilities.
- Supports and develops software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.
- Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.
- Candidate must be knowledgable about ecommerce and the platform around ecommerce
- Possess 4 years of experience in development.
- Keen knowledge of at least 2 PHP frameworks (Laravel, Cake PHP, YII, CodeIgniter... ).
- Must have a proven work experience in front-end web technologies (JavaScript, Web Sockets, Angular JS, Ajax...) across different browsers including mobile (micro websites).
- Experience in designing, developing and maintaining SQL databases.
- Experience in Unix server configuration (Apache, SSL, GIT, Ruby, Mail Servers…).
- Well versed in software engineering principles, design patterns, Agile (SCRUM, XP, RAD) and test driven development.
- To be up to date with the latest frameworks and technologies.
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
- Good team player as well as able to work independently.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
