You will be responsible for the management of strategic projects such as partnerships, awards and events to boost the company’s visibility to investors. Primary role will be sourcing, securing and maintaining available funding in the form of grants, subsidies and other forms of non-equity financing and involve in government relations to ensure compliance to all necessary licensing, granted funding or projects relating to public sector entities. Periodically, you will need to generate management reports as well as business’ economic outlook reports to internal and external stakeholders, i.e. management, shareholders, government agencies, financial institutions and investors. Occasionally, you will be required to create a professional and persuasive proposal according to specific guidelines, based on factual information that provides the reader with necessary details to make a decision about future financial contributions or business commitments with our company.
You must enjoy doing research, write and organize ideas into articulate and persuasive business proposals for different targeted audiences. Have the interest and curiosity in analyzing a prospect’s business needs and work with the key team members to develop a tailored made proposals and the corresponding agreements for its implementation. It will be an added advantage if you are good with numbers because you are also required to extract, analyze and present historic data in an informative communique for reliable management decision-making and compliance to statutory obligations.
You MUST be able to communicate effectively and efficiently in both orally and written English. Credible, meticulous, and able to maintain professionalism at all times, excellent research skills with the ability to translate findings into persuasive and articulate reading materials for different audience. Should be passionate about business and understand business and financial terminologies and have project management skills.
It is most preferred if you posses a Bachelor's degree in Business, Public and Mass communications or related field. Without having to mention, previous experience in government relations or public relations is an added advantage. Computer literate and proficient with MS Office Suite.
