MARKETING AND MEDIA OFFICER
Edukasyon.ph is a Social Enterprise startup that offers a website of scholarships and educational opportunities for Filipino students about to enter senior high school/college/university. These include scholarships and grants given by universities and foundations in the Philippines.
What will you be doing?
1. Marketing
a. Develop and implement a corporate and communications marketing strategy and implementation plan and identify future opportunities for brand enhancement; and
b. Manage external PR & Marketing events and maximise opportunities for communications activity.
c. Work with the web team, to create, adapt, improve and optimize web communication for SEO and organic and keyword search
2. Press Relations
a. Identify press opportunities pursuant to the corporate marketing strategy through regular proactive media initiatives, which include, but not limited to, preparation of media releases, comment pieces, feature stories and letters to editors, as may be applicable;
b. Manage day to day press relations with key organisations, journalists and stakeholders;
c. Monitor regularly media mentions, responding or forwarding for response as required;
d. Maintain a regular “news roundup” email to website users and stakeholders.
e. Maintain and update database of media contacts;
f. Prepare news releases and other communication materials for promotion of events, launches and key company milestones;
3. Social Media
a. To manage and lead all corporate social media activity (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin);
b. To convert wide variety of social media users to actual users of the website.
4. Email marketing and Inbound marketing management
a) Email campaign development and implementation
b) Manage inbound marketing system, including campaign development and data analysis
c) Develop compelling custom content
d) Design and deliver emails
e) Craft email campaigns
