We’re looking for a startup fit Business Development Manager to join a rapidly growing global team to help Tapp successfully launch in the Philippines. You would be responsible for managing, developing and directly evolving Tapp’s local customer offering and product. You would identify, analyze and realize business leads in order to create new business opportunities and revenue sources for Tapp.  You would work closely with key internal functions, to identify and communicate new business opportunities and product ideas, reporting to the Managing Director of Tapp Philippines.

 

Duties and responsibilities

·      Define and size target market segments, customer base, key partners and system integrators throughout Philippines

·      Drive TappMarket sales and user acquisition for agents network and consumers, developing and executing ideas for acquisition & stickiness creation

·      Approach prospective customers and provide them with information on the company and its services

·      Work closely with key internal functions (product, engineering, go-to-market, marketing and support teams) to identify and communicate new business opportunities and product development ideas

·      Check and control deposit balance in suppliers

·      Supervise and guide Customer Service in handling requests and complaint

Your survival toolkit includes…

·      8-10+ years’ experience of business planning and customer relationship management 

·      Business and/or Technical education

·      Background in start-ups, mobile business, online/mobile payments, offline and/or online resellers/dealership networks

·      Strong interest towards banking disruption and mobile commerce

·      An ability to spot and create ideas and solutions that drive the market

·      Fluent written and spoken English

·      Solid understanding of technology and mobile apps

·      Superstar communication, contract & negotiation skill set

·      Bravery to explore, challenge and make mistakes

·      Start-up attitude. In spades.

·      Fluent written and spoken English
