We are looking for someone that is keen to progress their career as part of our development team. You will be experienced in web development and have an eye for detail. We look for web developers who are keen to explore the modern web development practices and grow with us as a part of our team.

You will be a developer working as part of a team on large website projects. These are generally run over a number of months. Your team will be split across the KL and UK offices. You will be responsible for certain features of the development but you may also pair program.

Your skills

• Basic technical skills in Web development preferably with PHP, Java or ASP.NET.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Ability to work in teams and have strong interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently.

Knowledge

• Web application development
• JQuery, XHTML and CSS is a plus
• Good understanding of relational database concepts
• Practical MySQL or SQL Server knowledge is a plus
• Strong understanding of object-oriented (OOP) development principals
• Comfort with website administration across Linux or Windows platforms
• GIt or Subversion experience is a plus
• XML and related technologies such as use of web services
• Understanding of common frameworks and design patterns used with web development is a plus
• A creative, resourceful and tenacious approach to problem solving

Experience/Requirement

• Preferably candidate from Computer Science/Information Technology background or equivalent.
• Required language(s): English
• Training will be provided.
