Developer (Payment Card Fraud Prevention) job at Jewel Paymentech Anywhere

We're a Financial Technology startup which focuses on developing intelligent solutions to mitigate fraud and other risks for the banking and financial industry (think payment terminals, ATMs and eCommerce gateways).

Jewel Paymentech is a recipient of the ACE startup grant from SPRING Singapore. We have also recently been named as one of the the most promising FinTech startups in Asia by SWIFT.

Jewel Paymentech is looking for a dynamic full-stack developer to join our team and support us in a number of new initiatives including development of mobile, front-end and backend applications. 

We are looking for individuals looking for a challenge to see through projects from concept to implementation. Be prepared for a fast-paced and exciting environment and you will gain a broad experience in understanding the banking and electronic payments industry.

You will be responsible for:

• Engineering new versions of our existing fraud prevention payment applications and new upcoming projects
• Collaborate with in-house and remote developers to build new products (as well as enhance existing solutions)
• Explore the use of new technologies in solving technical challenges

JOB REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for a resourceful, self-motivated leader that has technical credibility to manage technical teams as well as to take on the stresses of business objectives and timelines. We are currently only reviewing applicants who are eligible to work in Singapore (Singaporeans & PRs). 

Other Technical requirements

• You absolutely love programming (Python, Ruby etc)
• and love developing applications from frontend to backend
• Experience with Django, Backbone.js, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS
• Knowledge of a significant set of technologies including: Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat), Java, C, Perl, Rest/Json, Spring, MariaDB, MS SQL Server, MySQL.
• Knowledge of Banking messaging formats such as ISO8583 a plus.
