Night Ops Manager JD
Overview
Management of Sorting Operations: To ensure smooth running of sorting operations and guarantee completion daily.
- Ensure continuation of parcel’s lifecycle
- Ensure proper inbounding and sizing of parcels + conflict resolution
- Ensure complete outbounding + conflict resolution
- Management of Warehouse Staff
- Warehouse management and security
(Discipline, Sorting SOPs, Attendance, Volume forecasting and Rostering, Workplace safety, Warehouse organisation, Warehouse surrounds and orderliness)
- Routing responsibilities – prepare the routes in the system for sorting to take place
- Ensure proper inter-departmental reporting structure followed for all communications
- Identify and implement improvements where necessary
- Resolve problems as they appear: upon inbound/outbound
- Track relevant metrics
KPIs
- Inbound/Outbound timings met
- Routes all prepared to specifications: 0 inaccuracies, fully loaded into mobile racks
- Maintaining breakage/loss % for items in warehouse
- Logical rostering maintained
- Orderliness of the warehouse and surrounds
Working hours: Night shift 10pm-10am (Flexible)
Candidates in Klang Valley/Johor/Penang should apply.
Job training will be held in Klang Valley.
University graduates preferred.
Techcentric, computer literate candidates preferred.
Strong ability to grasp operational processes and systems quickly
No previous experience in logistics/warehouse management required.
Must be fluent in English/Malay and competent in Mandarin.
Candidates aged 21-35 preferred.
