Jewel Paymentech is looking for a lead developer to join our team and support us in a number of new initiatives including development of mobile, front-end and backend applications.
We are looking for individuals looking for a challenge to see through projects from concept to implementation. Be prepared for a fast-paced and exciting environment and you will gain a broad experience in understanding the banking and electronic payments industry.
- Partner with business units and develop requirements for development teams
- Collaborate with in-house and remote developers to execute on project plans
- Explore the use of new technologies in solving technical challenges
- Assist in the management of resources and optimize ROI
We are looking for a resourceful, self-motivated leader that has technical credibility to manage technical teams as well as to take on the stresses of business objectives and timelines. We are currently only reviewing applicants who are eligible to work in Singapore (Singaporeans & PRs).
Other Technical requirements
- 2-5 years experience will be ideal
- A degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Experience with both mobile and web products
- Expertise in designing complex software
- Knowledge of a significant set of technologies including: Linux (Ubuntu, RedHat), Java, C, Perl, Django, Python, Rest/Json, Spring, MariaDB, MS SQL Server, MySQL.
- Great level of understanding of open source software (Server, DB, and Client)
- Knowledge on RFID/NFC technologies
- Effective project management skills
- Experience in ISO8583, BASE24 and electronic payments is a plus
