- Oversee daily finance and accounting function which involve amongst others, payment and collection, invoicing, inventory management, asset safeguarding and reporting
- Oversee closing of monthly management accounts in accordance to country accounting standards and in accordance to format required by Regional Finance for group consolidation
- Prepare financial reports, reconcile expenditure and revenue accounts
- Oversee the Account Payable, Account Receivable function
- Be responsible for day-to-day accounting function and monthly accounts close
- Perform account analysis, reconciliation of various general ledger accounts, journal and other accounting entries.
- Supervise the input and handling of financial data and reports for the company's automated financial systems.
- Oversee the annual audit process; Lead interactions with accounting firm, external auditors, including getting the company audit-ready and then through audits
- Oversee tax compliances
- Manage liquidation and reimbursements
- Assist the regional team in implementation of procedural control in finance operations
- Assist the regional team in implementation of accounting software
- Assist the regional team in financial due diligence
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
- Candidate must have at least 3-5 years work experience in the related field.
- Having a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is an advantage.
- A strong knowledge on International Accounting Standards
- Experience in using accounting software is essential
- Organized, systematic and highly analytical
- Must be able to apply discretion with confidential information
- Able to work independently, with limited direction and in an autonomous, informal environment
- Must have an above average communication skills to interact effectively with different levels in the organization, sufficient to convey information and to receive work direction.
