Admin Assistant job at Apple Seed Singapore

We are looking for a Business Development Executive to work for Apple Seed, a Singapore based venture accelerator. Apple Seed is led by leaders in the industry who together bring knowledge, expertise and start-up experiences. The people behind the business bring a cache of knowledge and know-how, network and connections into the venture capital and incubation space. The team brings a network of incubators in Singapore, India, China, Europe and America.

The role will enable the candidate to develop knowledge, skills and expertise on venture acceleration and incubation for both local and regional startups

Responsibilities and requirements • Liaise with the investment community • Call, email and liaise with startups • Keen interest in the startup ecosystem • Assist the marcom executive with editorial work for the website and blog • Facilitate operations and logistics for workshops and networking events • Proficient in Microsoft Office (word, powerpoint, excel) • Knowledge on salesforce and mail merge • Ability to meet deadlines

We are looking for a full-time admin assistant to join Apple Seed

Roles and responsibilities

  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Organise and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Monitoring and booking of meeting room
  • Develop and maintain a filing system
  • Order office supplies
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Assisting the Marcom manager with logistics during in-house events
  • Maintenance of staff annual leave & medical leave records for staff
  • Other ad-hoc admin duties
  • Undertake other duties such as banking, payment vouchers or payroll functions.

Candidate must possess GCE O Level

  • Minimum 1 year working experience
  • Proficient in MS Office (i.e., Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated, meticulous, organised and responsible
