Job Description

Social enterprises are businesses with a social mission. The Singapore Centre for Social Enterprise (raiSE) was launched in 2015 to provide end-to-end support to social enterprises in Singapore and help them grow and scale. raiSE is now looking for a highly motivated individual who can engage relevant stakeholders and partners in developing capabilities of social enterprises and aspiring social entrepreneurs. This portfolio would involve implementing a community innovation platform to co-create solutions for the social sector in Singapore, administering incubation and growth programmes for social enterprises as well as working with the sector in developing programmes to engage talents and develop competencies.

 

Key Responsibilities

You will be part of the dynamic team in driving the following deliverables: 

·         Develop and administer programmes to grow talents and enterprise capabilities

·         Develop and administer the community innovation platform to co-create solutions for social sector in Singapore

·         Monitor progress and provide inputs and support to the social enterprises participating in programmes as necessary

·         Perform any other duties as assigned

Competencies and Skill Sets  
At least three years of work experience.  Related experience in the areas of supporting capability building for SMEs, sector talent development and/or startup incubation would be an advantage. Willing to learn and adaptable. Purpose-driven to achieve desired outcomes in building capacity for the social enterprise sector.
