ABOUT YOU
You are a high-energy, motivated, adaptive and creative person who is interested in contributing to the early stages of a startup. You’re excited about modern (mobile) technologies and OOP, you have experience working with AngularJS, Ionic or ReactJS, you couldn’t live without GIT, and you’re always looking to find the best solution to a problem.
You possess a knack for listening to someone’s detailed needs and wishes, and transforming that into workable application features, and then constructing it with minimum oversight. You are efficient and decisive, but are also flexible and willing to make changes when necessary. You never start a project without finishing it, and your work is better or comparable to the best in the business.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop and maintain Android and iPhone apps to deliver across the entire app life cycle –concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support
- Work directly with product managers and other developers to conceptualize, build, test and realize products
- Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions
- Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects
- Work along web developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps
- Optimize performance for the apps
- Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies
- Explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Must be permanently residing in Singapore (Work Visa/Permit not provided)
- Experience in design and software development with an MVC framework
- Proven experience (3 years) with mobile app development
- Published examples of mobile applications on the App store or the Android market
- Proven experience with (hybrid) technologies and (scaling) performance challenges
- Decision making and problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills, including strong English fluency
- Ability to work independent
