We are looking for a Senior Associate (SA) to help us sustain our rapid growth.

The SA shall be responsible for lead generation, preparation of proposals, execution of consulting contracts, formalization of tools and practices, pipeline forecasting and budgeting, recruitment of junior staff. In terms of domains of consulting, the missions shall span (not exhaustively): 

• Assisting our customers with Asia market entry (market research, strategic planning and implementation plan definition). 

• Deploying and enhancing Emerge Venture Sales AccelerationTM Framework to accelerate their sales in Asia. 

• Deploying and enhancing Emerge Venture Investor Readiness and AccelerationTM Framework to assist start-ups and SMEs to prepare for funding rounds. 

• Advising MNCs on how to leverage the innovation potential of Singapore and South East Asia (assistance with deal flow, relation with start-ups, local government and research institutes for business development and investment opportunities). 

• Providing consultancy and advisory services to our MNC clients.

You will be directly reporting to the Managing Partners of Emerge Venture. Notably, Emerge Venture is working closely with Hera Capital, a prominent private equity firm, giving Emerge Venture consultants the opportunity to add value on the portfolio of invested company of Hera Capital, in close coordination with Hera Capital managing partners and team of analysts.

• A 4 to 10-year working experience profile, with a strong desire for working in an entrepreneurial setting and grow a boutique consulting practice

• At least 2 years of experience at a renowned consulting firm (senior analyst level and above)

• Ideally previous experience within a technology company (corporate experience combined

  with VC, or technology focused consulting practice would be a plus.

• Team management experience (recruiting, coaching, appraising)

• Proven business experience in ASEAN and strong understanding of the different Asian

  cultures

• Previous experience working with or for start-ups and SMEs is a plus.

• Fluent in English and possibly in another Asian language

• Singaporean Citizen or Permanent Resident status
