- Serve as a market specialist to help the technology team.
- Work with developers to implement algorithmic trading models using VBA/Python/CSharp.
- Understand traders’ perspective and translate it into the right business requirement.
- Create functional specifications for new product features.
- Provide a thorough guidelines on the operation and system requirements of brokers, exchanges, data providers and regulators.
- Support VP of Product to handle day to day ecommerce operation.
- Research on market dynamics to improve the platform’s order execution.
- Conduct competitive analysis to assess and improve the platform
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- A good degree in the relevant fields (Engineering/Applied Math/Finance) or CFA holders.
- Thorough understanding of electronic trading/ecommerce and market microstructure.
- Prior experience working with traders/brokers in the buy-side or sell-side.
- Tech Savvy. Ability to implement financial models using any programming language such as CSharp, VBA, Python, etc.
- Deep knowledge of how stock markets work. Understand the application of fundamental analysis and technical analysis in stock trading.
- Experience with Bloomberg/Reuters platform is preferable.
- Knowledge of FIX Protocol is a plus.
- Able to drive product development process.
- Excellent communication and skills.
