SUGAR is an early stage start-up studio that nurtures greenfield ideas to change the world. Unlike traditional accelerators or incubators, it will unearth great start-ups from the idea stage, provide seed funding, help organic growth, and lead to a flourishing exit.
Who are we?
Lawr is a new web based platform that we envisage would change the way clients and lawyers
interact. We are a young company but have big plans to expand quickly around the world. Our
operations are based in Singapore but right now our primary focus is India.
Your role
At Lawr we place a priority on the need to connect with all of our partners. Your role will be focused
on law firms and lawyers, whom you will be expected to convince and sell the brand to. Ultimately,
you have to show them why Lawr is the best way for them to interact and connect with their partners.
You will also be responsible for growing the lawyer/law firm community in Mumbai. You will be
working closely with an overall supervisor in India, a former commercial lawyer.
Responsibilities
- Hustling for sales leads and conducting your own sales generation.
- Establishing relationships with lawyers and law firms that will lead to the growth of the brand.
- Obtaining strong numbers and interest from lawyers and law firms.
- Meeting weekly and monthly sales targets.
We provide generous commission-based incentives.
Requirements
We are looking for hungry go-getters with an entrepreneurial mindset looking to take their expertise
in sales into the specialized profession of law. You are expected to display perseverance, innovation
and charm in reaching your sales targets and on top of all that, we also look for independence,
attitude and ambition.
Other requirements:
- Living in Mumbai with good English abilities. Hindi/Marathi language skills are an asset.
- 2 years’ experience in sales and marketing. Having connections in and experience working with the
legal sector will be looked upon very favourably.
- An understanding of start-up culture and the unique requirements that come with working in this
environment.
- A sense of urgency and a “make things happen” attitude.
- Strong initiative and emphasis on achieving tangible results.
