What You’ll Be Doing
- Gather information and data from around the organisation to create news-worthy stories, infographics, articles etc. for distribution through press releases
- Drive awareness of the HappyFresh brand with end consumers, supermarket partners and FMCG brands through PR efforts
- Develop connections and relationships with various media outlets (print, radio, TV, online) in Malaysia and regionally
- Find angles to pitch for interviews and feature articles with media
- Arrange for speaker slots at relevant events in Malaysia for senior local and regional management
- Liaise and collaborate with local and regional PR agencies for major events and campaigns
- Liaise and collaborate with strategic marketing partners to amplify the impact of PR efforts
- Develop PR initiatives to boost awareness and sales from our supermarket partners
What You Should Already Have
- Degree or Diploma in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism or a related field
- 1-2 years experience in PR or a related role
- Excellent speaking/writing skills in English and Bahasa Melayu
- Excellent communicator and friendly/outgoing personality
- Good attention to detail, organised and able to manage projects from end to end
- Passion for grocery shopping or food is a plus!
