Job Summary
Are you passionate about the beauty industry, be it products or services? An exciting new start-up in the digital space which aims to revolutionize the beauty industry in Singapore is looking for sales and business development executives that can onboard partners, salons and beauty companies to use our software and app.
Responsible for business development and sales, we are looking for passionate, creative and brand enthusiasts who are excellent communicators to create a sales funnel and achieve specific targets in relation to key verticals such as hair, nails, spas and salons. Working closely with customer service and marketing, you will love working in a fun, start-up environment, working with customers and partners on new ways of achieving an exciting new IT/software platform in the mobile and digital space. This is a new role, in a start-up team, responsible for assisting in the launch of a new software and app in Singapore. Great potential for promotions and career growth as well as potentially regional travel as the brand expands in Asia.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify, acquire and create sales opportunities through a combination of channels, including but not limited to referrals, networking, cold calls, and face-to-face meetings • Proactively set up and close sales opportunities • Permanent oversight and analysis of assigned territories and accounts to find opportunities and drive listings • Consult and make recommendations to salon decision makers on our products and services and communicate the value of joining the Prolley platform • Assist salons to collate and upload information and ensure they are ready to go live on the Prolley platform • Work closely with the operations/IT team to facilitate successful product adoption by new clients • Constantly relay and generate feedback to the software development team regarding product improvements • Constantly relay and generate feedback to the Head of Marketing regarding future strategic marketing initiatives for new and existing salon partners • Permanent optimization of all sales tools (primarily SalesForce) • Negotiate and implement commercial partnership agreements
Key Requirements
• Minimum college diploma in business or communications • Previous experience in sales / business development preferably in IT, software, mobile apps, or in the beauty industry preferred, however, will consider entry level if the personality and attitude are exceptional • Strong marketing skills • Strong analytical skills • Fluency in English (oral and written) with excellent writing skills • Fluency in a local language a plus • Experience with database management, sales funnels, and negotiating contracts with partners • Outstanding project management skills, solution and action oriented with a can-do attitude and a passion for beauty services and product.
