Duo was just started in February 2015, and are currently small team that’s fun, enthusiastic and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

We are looking for a detail-oriented, flexible individual to join our team as a Junior Creative, who is passionate about crafting ​clever designs, has a strong eye for layout, is efficient in making edits and has meticulous attention to detail.​ ​

Your role will largely be to produce social media content; mainly posts, videos and ads. In addition, the designer will be involved in the conceptualization​ process​ of campaigns with a tiny team with big hearts.

Day-to-day tasks include:

• Conceptualization and creation of visual graphics and videos intended for publication on social media

• Photography and videography of clients’ products / services

• Maintain our clients’ branding guidelines on social media and ​design ​file organization

• Flexibly ​​work under an agency-type of environment, dealing with incoming client work (i.e. projects come in many different forms)

• ​Create and develop a visual response to communication problems, including understanding of hierarchy​ and grid structure, negative space, typography, aesthetics, user-centric design, composition and construction of meaningful imagery​ and photography​

• ​Communicate ​clearly and effectively in interdisciplinary team meetings​ and ​work ​closely ​with internal and external clients, project managers, community and content managers, etc.​ within the organization.

 

Requirements

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative suite of tools including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign will be expected.

• Knowledge/experience on Photography, Video Production and Motion Graphics will be a huge plus

• Good understanding of current design trends, visual and video trends on social media

• Social media savvy

• Can juggle multiple tasks under a tight deadline.

• ​Has​ a keen eye for typography, hierarchy, negative space, color theory ​and layout

• Communicates ideas clearly and is able to back up and explain work

• Very detail oriented.

• ​1-2 years of working experience in a related field will be ideal, but skilled fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
