Responsibilities of an UX Designer
- Consulting with clientele on business goals and requirements
- Discover user’s pain point through interviews and immersion
- Facilitate ideation and prototyping process
- Test and design interactions and screen flows for products across different platforms
- Ensure integrity of design and performance of product during development
- Work as a part of multi-disciplinary team
- Analyze user behavior data for future product iterations
The ideal UX Designer should possess the following
- Observant in uncovering common and recurring issues in daily life
- Experienced in creating slick user experience on digital platforms.
- Believes that user testing results is more important than what the designer, the boss and the clients think
- Proficient in prototyping software (Omnigraffle, Axure, Proto.io is a plus)
