Technology @ Rainmaker Labs

Technology is the core of Rainmaker Labs and our mission is to build enterprise software that everyone loves. Our engineering office in Vietnam is building a team of PHP/Python ninjas who can solve challenging optimization problems by day and build innovative product ideas by night. We are looking for a bright, creative, self-starting Technical Team Leader with strong experiences in developing sophisticated applications on the web (and mobile preferably). An experience in developing SAAS product is a plus.

 

The ability to lead on both product and back-end focus is essential and if you’re interested in a mix of creating new features and finding ways to make existing code more efficient then this position is for you! We want your ability to lead, inspire and code!

Who Will I Be Working with?

As the Product Tech Team Leader, you will be working closely and report to the Product Business Team Leader along with the Global Management team. You will also be leading a team of developers developing the product/software that is located in HCMC, Vietnam.

 

Where Will I Be Working?

This position is full-time and is based in Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh or in Singapore (RML HQ), but you will be required to have the flexibility to work across multiple countries in Southeast Asia.

 

What Will I Be Responsible For?

·    Lead small-medium team in developing, improving and maintaining the product

·    Advise on the technical perspective of the product given a set of business requirements

·    Plan the development of a product release

·    Work hand-in-hand with sales team and design team to release product and new features.

·    Setting up technical processes for the small-medium team

What Skills & Competencies Should I Possess?

· B.S. / M.S. Computer Science or related field

· Experience in PHP is a must

· Experience in Python, Objective-C and Android is a plus

· Experience building web (and mobile applications preferably) at the user interface and system levels

· Experience in understanding large and complex code bases

· Experience in designing clean and maintainable APIs

· Experience with multi-threaded programming

· Knowledge of performance tools and optimization techniques

· At least 3 year experience in relevant position
