We are looking for a junior developer to join our team and help us improve the Cresco Data platform. Projects can include working on the following components:
- Back-end systems for data processing
- Internal APIs
- GUI for staff members, clients and agencies
- New components to communicate with external services via APIs or any other method available
All components run on Amazon AWS so the job will give great exposure to cloud based technologies and provide an opportunity to work on many components of a platform.
We are looking for someone who is:
- Bright, fast-learning and keen on working with new technologies
- Dynamic and self-motivated and able to work in a start-up environment
We'd like you to have the following skills:
- Experience with dynamic languages preferably Python
- Experience with server side web frameworks such as Django or Rails
- Experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL)
In addition, the following skills would be useful:
- Experience with Rest APIs
- Source control such as GIT/SVN
- Unit testing experience
- Experience with cloud-based setups preferably AWS and a good understanding of stateless components and scalability
- Experience working with e-commerce platforms
