Job Description

We are looking for a front-end web/mobile app developer who possesses a passion for pushing mobile technologies to the limits and will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.

You will:

• Develop functional and appealing web- and mobile-based applications based on usability
• Provide website maintenance and enhancements
• Use a combination of markup languages to write web pages
• Write functional requirement documents and specifications
• Create quality mockups and prototypes on tight timelines
• Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting
• Create cascading style sheets (CSS) that are consistent across all browsers and platforms
• Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product’s interface
• Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
• Promote usability best practices

You should have:

• Advanced degree in computer science or equivalent experience 
• Understanding of layout aesthetics and a rigor for programming are prerequisites
• Expertise combines user interface know-how with CSS, HTML, JavaScript and jQuery.
• Have an understanding of how to embed analytics into your website, and how to use analytical data (Google Analytics, FB analytics etc) to optimize the user acquisition funnel.
• How to use analytics to drive iteration of website design (possibly via A/B testing) to optimize relevant conversions (ex. search for doctors, post medical questions etc).
• With in-depth knowledge of web technologies gained from research and professional experience.
• Understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development and deployment, with some back-end knowledge
• Strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems such as Drupal and WordPress, as well as software programs like the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design is also a big plus.
• Responsible for interpreting and executing designs correctly, ability to effectively communicate with the creative team.
• Other vital soft skills in the front-end web developer job description include the ability to solve problems and adapt quickly to new web design and application trends. 
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
