Senior Lead Mobile Developer job at DingGo Singapore

DingGo works like the 'Uber' of the food & entertainment worlds. It instantly brings nearby customers to fill last-minute seats.  We are currently in "beta" mode seeking a senior mobile app developer to develop the next app lifecycle of our application. 

• Act as lead iOS and/ or Android developer. Depending on the skill set, can be lead on one platform and play a supporting role across the other
• Integrate and develop cross-platform mobile applications for the Android and iOS platforms
• Work closely with other mobile app developers leading the other platform development
• Deliver across the entire app life cycle – concept, design, build, deploy, test, release to app stores and support
• Work directly with developers and business team to conceptualize, build, test and realize products
• Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant functional solutions
• Build prototypes at tech scoping stage of projects
• Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences
• Collaborate with web developers to maintain a robust framework to support the apps
• Optimize performance for the apps
• Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies
• Explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Attend industry events/conference –  both attending and presenting

Personal Requirements:

• Published examples of mobile applications on the App store or the Android market
• Excellent knowledge of information architecture, human computer interaction and usability design principles
• A track record of delivering successful consumer and/or business products
• Excellent scoping and estimation skills as well as testing/QA skills
• Ability to use analytic data and user testing to inform design decision
• A passion for new consumer technology and the emerging media landscape
• Ability to multi task and lead a team of developers
• Ability to work independently under time pressure
• Self-driven and good team player
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to thrive in chaos and uncertainty while maintaining both your sense of humor and sanity

Essential:

• iOS –
  • Strong OO design and programming skills in Objective-C
  • Familiar with iOS SDK (UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, Core Location, etc.)
  • Experience with Xcode, Objective-C, MVC framework, API over HTTPS, JSON, App store and TestFlight
• Android –
  • Strong OO design and programming skills in Java (J2EE/ J2ME)
  • Familiar with the Android SDK
  • Knowledge of SQLite, MySQL or similar database management system
  • Familiar with Eclipse
  • Experience with Android Studio, Java, MVC framework, API over HTTPS, JSON, Play store
• Common -
  • Development experience using Java
  • Familiar with general native and cross platform mobile applicationdevelopment.
  • Experience on web service integration
  • Good understanding of OO programming and design patterns
  • Excellent debuggingand optimization skills
