The PR Salon is a Full-Service PR & Marketing Agency that specializes in Food/Beverage, Consumer Goods, Fashion, Travel, Lifestyle and Entertainment. We are looking for highly motivated candidates who have a passion for these industries, a positive work ethic, and possess an entrepreneurial spirit.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Work closely with agency owner to gain significant experience in lifestyle PR & Marketing
• Prepare monthly client reports
• Press clippings containing client features/write-ups
• Create pitches surrounding specified venue promotions/events
• Create agency marketing materials including proposals, decks and case studies
• Research media coverage and industry trends
• Develop creative marketing campaigns and fresh story ideas for clients
• Coordinate scheduling and logistics
Candidates must either be currently attending college or have a degree/diploma. Must have strong skills in social networking, generating viral awareness and the ability to multi-task among different agency responsibilities. Must have an excitement and eagerness to learn in the public relations and marketing fields as well as overall professionalism in their demeanor.
Desired Skills and Qualifications include:
• Exceptional verbal and writing skills for pitches, press releases, media alerts
• Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong experience/knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
• Social Media Savvy
• Self-motivated, proactive, positive, results-oriented approach to work
• Must work well in a team environment but also work independently, meeting goals and deadlines with minimal supervision
