We’re looking for a mobile app developer to lead the design, development and maintenance of iOS and Android apps, which will be frontend clients to a backend REST API. In addition, you can expect to be heavily involved with planning and driving our mobile strategy.
- Design, develop and maintian mobile apps for iOS or Android
- Work with UI designers and web developers to deliver finished applications
- Work with sales and marketing teams to explore business requirements and react quickly to customer feedback
- Write documentation for existing and new applications
- Stay up-to-date on the latest mobile trends and have a keen interest in the latest developments in mobile app technologies
- Degree/Diploma* in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related discipline
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in developing mobile applications for iOS or Android
- Familiarity with building mobile apps that interact heavily with REST-based web services
- (Preferable) Familiarity with issue trackers such as Jira
- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Able to manage time effectively and prioritise a wide range of tasks
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- (Optional) Excellent interpersonal skills
