PurelyB is looking for a software engineer to work directly with our CTO to code and run feature development and integrations for PurelyB content management system, health programme system and marketplace. This is a hands on role where software engineering, infrastructure, and problem solving skills are required.
Report to: CTO
Minimum 3+ years experience in product technology role and computer science or software engineering qualifications.
Skills required:
- PHP, HTML5, CSS, javascript
- AngularJS, JQuery, bootstrap, backbone.js
- Databases and SQL/MySQL
- Experience in infrastructure setups such as AWS/DigitalOcean or similar Cloud infra
- Web Services and Integrations - Designing APIs, using REST - JSON / SOAP
- Networking, security and performance tuning for web
- System Design and Data Modelling
- SFTP, SSL secure technologies
- Email systems, SendGrid/MailGun/Mandrill or similar transactional mail systems, or other email API / template / marketing
- Email reputation management
A bonus if you have knowledge and some experience in
- MVC Frameworks: Codeignitor/Yii
- CMS Platforms: Wordpress/Joomla
- Marketplace platforms: Magento/HikaShop/Shopify/CS Cart etc
- No SQL stores or graph database
- Cordova/PhoneGap, Ionic, mobile development, native iOS / Android
- ElasticSearch or other in memory systems like Redis or Memcache
- Laravel, Ruby-on-Rail
- Some knowledge of CSS
- Had experience in marketplace, warehousing, inventory, fulfillment industries
