We're the start-up tackling the most difficult challenge in self-driving cars — urban driving. We envision the future of mobility to revolve around diverless vehicles for Mobility on Demand. We are partnering with multiple automotive companies to test our software. We develop software for safe and smooth navigation through urban environments, including software for perception, mapping, localization, and decision-making. Our team can support every step of the development process for self-driving cars, from system architecture definition to on-road testing.

We are looking for dedicated individuals who have the ability to formulate rigorous, robust solutions to hard problems in mobile robotics, and translate these solutions into an actual solution.
This job will involve working very closely with senior researchers in the conversion of a fleet of vehicles into drive-by-wire for the purpose of autonomous driving.
Job responsibilities
- Assist in the conversion process of a vehicle to drive-by-wire
- Assist in the maintenance of autonomous vehicles for on-road testing
- To integrate different sensor modalities (cameras, radars, LIDARs, IMU, etc) into an autonomous vehicle
Core Skills
- Strong "hands-on" background in robotics
- Experience working with real-time systems
- Hands-on experience in robotic or autonomous/intelligent vehicle system integration and testing
- Good C/cplusplus development skills on Linux platforms
- Experience with working with microcontrollers
- Experience developing software as part of a team
- Familiar with electrical circuitry and mechanical systems
- Experience in PCB design, fabrication, assembly and testing
- Familiar with ROS
- Excellent communication skills. Must speak English proficiently.
- Strong quantitative ability
- Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment
Desired Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience in robotics
