Our Customers are the centre of our Business Focus and our Site Reliability Engineering Team is a critical component who ensures that our customers get reliable and consistent performance for our solutions. In short, Site Reliability Team is the key customer interfacing team for us.
We are seeking Site Reliability Engineers to join us as we expand towards becoming the #1 solution provider in Secure Mobile Communications solutions in Asia Pacific.
As a Site Reliability Engineer at TreeBox, a typical day might include the following:
- Providing ancillary support of TreeBox's Enterprise-Grade Products and solutions at customer's sites
- Ironing out deployment issues or challenges that our customers may face
- Responsible for supporting Project Manager/s to install, configure and deploy operational solutions for our customers
- Running User Acceptance Tests and ensuring our solution is properly configured and accepted by our customers
- Exploring new server technologies for enhanced reliability
- Contribute to team learning by sharing own learning journey
- Resourceful and confident of resolving challenging issues onsite.
- Able to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a dynamic and high pressured environment.
TreeBox is the place for you if:
- You have very good understanding of large-scale computation systems, networking, UNIX/Linux Operating Systems and deployment strategies.
- You have experience on private cloud infrastructures, scaling and management of large clusters
- You understands JVM and its performance characteristics
- You have Site Reliability or System Engineering background and willingness to learn more of it as well as new things
- You have excellent hands-on experience on tooling for continuous integration and delivery
- You have a huge appetite to learn new things and you are a fast learner with no fear of steep learning curve. You also embrace uncertainties as a necessity
- You have experience in building and packaging large dynamic deployment topologies
- You have experience and knowledge in virtualization technologies
- You are a practioner of agile methodologies
- You have experience working with a software development team
- You are enthusiastic about hardware and automating system deployments
- You have experience on system monitoring
- You like to take on responsibility of software appliance deployment strategy
- You like to deploy a commercial product and see it solving customers’ pain points
- You like to ensure that infrastructure is always available
- You have proven site reliability or data center design experience necessary
- You want to be part of a company that emphasizes on Corporate Social Responsibilities. Though we are small, but TreeBox is looking to embark on local and overseas opportunities to contribute our part for the needy when we can.
- You are comfortable with working in Linux-based environment.
- You enjoy working in areas such as server configurations, remote configurations, reliability testing and commissioning, configuration of network components, and network security components.
- You are a fresh graduate or diploma holder and aspire to be a site reliability engineer. You can join us as a support engineer and be trained to be a site reliability engineer eventually!
