JOB DESCRIPTION

The Role

• We are currently looking for a Mid - Senior .NET Developer with a strong understanding of ground up application development.
• You will be a key member of the pioneer team responsible for the technical delivery of project to an agreed methodology and excellent level of quality.
• The role requires exceptional skills and extensive experience in .NET web and service development like ASP.NET MVC 4.5, CSS, JavaScript (Angular or Backbone), jQuery, HTML 5.0, WebAPI, WCF and SQL Server with the ability to develop solutions & concepts, maintain high code standards under pressure and analyze current requirements with minimal supervision.
• Your clear understanding of transactional flow through key line of business systems will help you determine the right approach to delivering improvements to existing applications as well as the development of new solutions including custom applications, API development and complex integrations.

• Leading the technical phases of challenging projects, specifically around ground up application development and integration of existing services and external endpoints.

• Interpreting project requirements, producing technical specifications and translating them into clever technology based solutions.

• Defining and implementing technical solutions alongside our existing teams.

• 3+ years of commercial development experience with Microsoft .NET Framework using csharp.

• 3+ years of commercial database development experience with Microsoft SQL Server.

• Relevant Tertiary qualification, Microsoft certification is an advantage.

• Client facing experience working directly with business users to understand their requirements -- for developers coming from BPO or consultant like jobs.

• Experience in MVC, WebAPI, RESTful web services and front end technologies. 

• Experience in developing and implementing integration solutions with mobile client -- Cordova + IONIC framework. 

• Experience developing, deploying and managing with Microsoft Azure or other public cloud technologies. 

• Ability to work across all stages of the SDLC 

• Experience with other MBAAS platforms is an advantage.
