Are you a PHP Guru or Ninja Coder? We are looking for junior and senior PHP developers, responsible for managing back-end services and integrating the services with front-end technologies. Your primary responsibilities will be to develop, maintain and unit test the application and its central database. You will be working with an awesome cool young team to create top notch travel technology solutions!! How much better can it get :)
- Design, develop and maintain PHP based in-house tools and backend systems.
- Work closely with product management and UX designers.
- Determine any functionality that the site must support and develop PHP content based on approved specifications.
- Deliver quality code, on time, with rigorous testing.
- Actively participate in the development processes.
- Provide quality and timely fixes to the problems assigned to resolve.
- Stay abreast of best practices by researching new tools and techniques.
- 2+ years of hands-on development experience and a strong passion for the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL & PHP) development stack.
- 2+ years of hands-on development experience with HTML, DHTML, JavaScript and CSS.
- Knowledge in various PHP stack like Cake, Yii, etc would be a plus.
- Knowledge of web service development and API integration and development using XML, SOAP, JSON
- Familiarity with common PHP design patterns and their implementation.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in agile, small-team environments.
- Must be eager to work with other dedicated programmers, including working in a remote development organization with co-workers in different geographic locations.
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously when necessary.
