We are looking for an experienced Chief Operating Officer or COO to oversee the organization’s ongoing operations and procedures. You will be the organization’s second-in-command and responsible for inspecting the efficiency of business.
The COO is a key member of senior management and is accountable for supervising the entire organization reporting only to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The ideal candidate will be an experienced and efficient leader, able to maintain control of diverse business operations.
The goal is to secure the functionality of business to drive extensive and sustainable growth.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures in the organization
- Set comprehensive goals and objectives for performance and growth
- Establish operating rules and policies that promote company culture and vision and monitor compliance
- Oversee the progress of daily operations of the company and the work of executives in different departments (Tech, Marketing, Sales, Finance etc.)
- Monitor the application of business strategies
- Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
- Evaluate performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
- Write and submit timely and detailed reports to the CEO in all matters of importance in the organization
- Assist CEO in fundraising ventures
- Participate in expansion activities such as investments, acquisitions, partnerships etc.
- Manage relationships with partners/vendors
- Proven experience as COO or relevant role
- Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
- Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
- Demonstrable competency in strategic planning, business development and investment/fundraising practices
- Working knowledge of Tech/Business infrastructure
- Understanding of a variety of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
